Census of agriculture from October 1st to December 15th, 2023

The conference "Towards the Census of Agriculture 2023" was held on March 17th, 2023 at the Metropol Hotel in Belgrade.

The director of SORS, Dr Miladin Kovačević, the head of the Department for Cooperation of the EU Delegation in Serbia, Nikola Bertolini, Milica Djurdjević, State Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, and the head of the Department of Agriculture Statistics Dragana Marković spoke about the upcoming Census of Agriculture 2023, addressing the media and the professional public.

The goal of the conference was to familiarize users of agricultural statistics data and the general public with activities related to the organization and implementation of the Agricultural Census, as well as to point out the importance of structural data on agricultural holdings and their application in the analysis of the agriculture situation in the Republic of Serbia.

Under the slogan When we know, we plan better, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, with the support of the European Union, as part of the IPA 2018 project, will conduct the Census of Agriculture 2023 in the period from October 1st to December 15th, 2023.
